Lose It is an awesome app. During the pandemic many of us gain weight and lost motivation. Our daily routines changed and we had to adapt to a new way of living. Many of us forgot how to discipline ourselves, causing some people to gain weight.
Before the pandemic, I usually took a walk over 5 miles per day. I burned over 1,000 calories from walking and working. I consumed a diet less than 2,500 calories per day. I was losing 1-3lb per week. Then, all success came to a sudden end. The pandemic happened.
During the year of 2020 I gain over 20lbs. I quit my job to protect myself from the exposure of Covid-19. My family and I spend most of our time indoors. We ate, slept and watched T.V most of the time. I also drank beer almost ever night with my friends on FaceTime gathering. I suddenly realize that I gain weight, too much weight.
I was on my phone one day and I came across an app called Lost It. I messed around with it for a few days, and found out that the app could help me create a diet log. The app made it easy to keep track of all the calories I eat daily and weekly. The app helped subtract calories from workouts and activities I did. I couldn't believe how much food options the app had to offer in the search engine so that I could keep track of my calories, and I couldn't believe how accurate the app was. Most importantly, I had the option to scan or create my own food and calories.
When I discovered the Lose It app, I weighted 220lb. I have been using this app for a year now, keeping track of my calorie intake, the amount of calories I burned and record my weight. I have lost 16lbs from just keeping track of my calories. I still have a long ways until I reach my goal, but I believe this app will help me to reach that desired goal.
Yep, this app is awesome. Counting calories was easy. Losing weight was thoughtless. Recording weight and setting goals was fun. I use this app everyday. I recommend using the Lose It app as a weight loss tool to help count calories and stay healthy.
